Last Monday I had three good friends from work over for lunch. I set a fancy table just for fun. We got pizza, exchanged gifts and ate eclair dessert. Then we set the timer on the camera and got a shot of all four of us. I am going to miss these friends when I move.

What every real American light up, low quality, collectible village needs.
I was feeling a little restless being inside for much of the day so this evening I decided to pay a visit to the local Wal-Mart store. I wandered around in the Christmas isles looking for discounted decorations, etc. I came across the Wal-Mart version of those Hightower Collectible villages that people collect and display at Christmas. They had all different kinds of low quality looking buildings to complete a village set-up. There was the village mill, the Alamo, the church and the popcorn stand among many others. Then I saw it. The little collectible building that completes any real American village...the Wal-Mart Supercenter collectible. What the hell? Seriously? I was at least encouraged that there were more of those left on the shelves than any other building.

I must be totally obsessed with kitties or something.
I find that several times through out a week my dream involves cats. I think what that means is that I really wish I could have a cat. Too bad the landlord won't let me. :( Any how, last night was another kitty cat dream. The main cat in the dream was Tiny Bones. If you have been a reader of my blog in the past, then you might remember seeing or at least hearing about Tiny Bones. He was a little orange cat. So tiny. Anyway, Tiny was my kitty and I was carrying him around with me. Then I had the idea of creating a kangaroo pouch in the front of my pants and carrying him around that way. He loved it.
So, the moral of this story is, if I wake up to this on Christmas morning...I'll be your b.f.f.l.

Woo hoo! Gifties!
I love giving gifts. I feel like all I have done recently is shop! While shopping is fun, I am wearing thin. I can't wait to give out all my gifties to my friends and family and hopefully make people smile!
