As of this morning I am divorced. I don't even know what else to say. I'm thankful to be meeting with Sara tonight to go to a play. I suppose that will keep my mind off of this for a while. It's a very strange feeling.
I'm sorry. Life (as an adult, anyway) is rarely easy. I agree with Terry; take the time you need to let everything sink in. Along with the 'strange' feelings, expect a myriad of others to follow. Time will allow you sort them out. One thing you should never doubt is my love for you. Please hold on to that feeling forever!
It's very comforting to know that the choices we make throughout our lives, while sometimes causing us pain, never condem us to a loveless eternity unless we let them. From the time you were a very little girl, Lauren, I knew that God was especially fond of you. You bring joy to so many of us with your zest for life. Let us fill you with our healing love.
