The nerve! I can't believe I would do such a thing. A few weeks ago I realized that it was almost the 1 year anniversary of my blog. I was going to write a happy anniversary letter to my blog, but completely forgot. So, happy belated anniversary The Animals Know Things. Here goes!

There are a few things I want you to know. I probably don't say it often enough, but you are the best blog I have ever had. You never judge me no matter how stupid my stories are. You always let me express myself, and you don't ask any questions. You are so smart! You catch most of my spelling errors and you don't make me feel bad for them. I think it's cute how you keep track some of my favorite things, like other blogs I like to visit. I love it that you're not even jealous. No matter how much time has passed you always make me feel welcome to create new posts and share recent thoughts. Thanks for all the good times we have had together. They say the first year is the hardest. I feel blessed to have had such an amazing ride our first year together.

The kitty babes are growing!
The kitties are growing so much. They are so cute. A week or so ago Puff moved them from their box to our bedroom. They sleep and hangout right where I step out of bed in the morning so I have to be extra careful. The last few evenings they have ventured into the living room. How exciting! Tonight they had cat food for the first time. I mixed the dry food with wet food and Puff probably ended up eating most of it. Monday, April 14, 2008
