I can feel the kitties move.
I was just holding a very pregnant Puff (Big Fluffy Orange Cat). I had my hand rested on her stomach and I felt her kitties move inside her tummy. It was so weird, but kinda cool. I hope she has her babies soon. Maybe tonight!

Yeah Kansas!
Did you know that the #1 ice scraper and the #2 honey in the United States are both manufactured in Kansas?
The world famous fast-food chain of Pizza Hut restaurants opened its first store in Wichita.
A hailstone weighing more than one and a half pounds once fell on Coffeyville.
A monument to the first Christian martyr on United States Territory stands along Highway 56 near Lyons. Father Juan de Padilla came to the region with the explorer Coronado in 1541.
The Arkansas River may be the only river whose pronunciation changes as it crosses state lines. In Kansas, it is called the Arkansas (ahr-KAN-zuhs). On both sides of Kansas (Colorado and Oklahoma), it is called the Arkansaw.
Fire Station No. 4 in Lawrence, originally a stone barn constructed in 1858, was a station site on the Underground Railroad.
Kansas has the largest population of wild grouse in North America. The grouse is commonly called the prairie chicken.
Hutchinson is nicknamed the Salt City because it was built above some of the richest salt deposits in the world. Salt is still actively mined, processed and shipped from Hutchinson.
Keep up the good work Kansas!

Sick of being sick!
I had a bad cold that kept me home from work two days the week before last. I was feeling oh so much better the next week, and made it to work every day. However, Friday I was very sneezey and had a runny nose again. Yesterday morning I woke up a little early to clean the bathroom before a contactor came over to take a look at it to give us a bid on re-doing it. I felt ok at first, but after he left around 9:30 I was feeling terrible. Since I can't make any decisions by myself when I am sick, I called my mommy. She suggested I go back to sleep for a while. I took a Mucinex D and laid down in bed again. I woke up again around 12 or 1 and still felt pretty yucky. Adam went to the K-State game and I stayed home and sulked. I had a temperature and everything. Now today I stayed home from church and I am still sickly. I am so sick of being sick. I think its winter’s fault. I’m ready for spring.

Happy Valentines Day?
On Monday afternoon Adam and I met at the furniture store to look at recliners. He asked me, "So is this a mutual Valentine's gift?" I told him that would be okay since we were dropping a significant amount of money.
The chair was delivered this afternoon. Before I got home I called and talked to Adam.
Adam: So are you going to sit in the recliner when you get home? Wait, don't it's MY recliner that you got ME for Valentine's Day.
Lauren: That's not fair. You said it was a mutual gift.
Adam: What I meant by mutual was, your gift to me was the recliner, and my gift to you was allowing you to buy the recliner because it was somewhat frivolous.

Sleepy Mc Sleepers
Setting: Our living room.
Adam asleep on the couch.
Lauren watching Bridget Jone's Diary.
Adam: Is your time extended for tomorrow?
Lauren: My time for what?
Adam: Your time for your performance.
Lauren: What performance?
Adam: That rodeo that you're watching.
