It's been 64 days since my last post. In order to bring you up to speed on our lives I will share 64 things that have happened since then.
1. We picked a day to get married! It's October 22nd!
2. DHS moved to a new building location.
3. Adam turned 28.
4. At my eye appointment I learned that my vision stayed the same since last year. That's the first time I can ever remember that happening.
5. We flipped the calendar from March to April.
6. I went to a really cool training on Interviewing Skills. (Like for the kids I interview for my job.)
7. Adam and I stayed in a Motel 6.
8. We discovered a delicious Mexican restaurant with fantastic margaritas just down the street.
9. I got to pick up my college friend Jared Hawkley from the airport in Colorado Springs and hang out and take him up to camp.
10. We went to church on Easter Sunday.
11. We ate Indian food.
12. I met Adam's friend Cody and we watched him race his dirt bike.
13. I had the most cases open at one time then I have ever had.
14. Jack turned 1!
15. I got to pick up Jared from camp.
16. We had pizza at Joe and Leah's house. Tina, Joe, Jared, Nathan, Joe, Leah, Adam and myself.
17. I flipped the calendar from April to May.
18. We worked.
19. Adam traded his dirt bike and some cash for a newer fancier dirt bike.
20. We decided to move in with Nathan, Marika & Jack at the end of our lease.
21. I cut my hair and put lots of blonde in it!
22. I flew to North Carolina for a Nate & Ola's wedding and got to see all kids of wonderful people!
23. I shared a room with Amanda.
24. I missed my flight from Detroit to Denver and was re-routed to Salt Lake City then to Denver.
25. I got to sit first class on the way yo SLC.
26. I told my mom happy mother's day.
27. I applied for a position in the Adult Protection unit. (no word yet.)
28. We started packing and moving.
29. I bought my wedding dress.
30. I tried a new recipe.
31. We got Noodles declawed.
32. Adam's uncle passed away.
33. We went to Monument, KS for the funeral.
34. I bought two new pairs of shoes.
35. We RSVP'd to two weddings in June.
36. I finished reading The Help.
37. I got a spray tan.
38. I dressed up for the Mother Daughter Tea at church.
39. We evaded the rapture.
40. We rode the Ramblin Express Casino Shuttle to Cripple Creek.
41. I won $150 on a penny slot in Cripple Creek!
42. "Band Camp" scheduled their first gig since the restructure.
43. We picked the reception site.
44. I finished Unaccustomed Earth.
45. I went out to lunch with my dad.
46. We went grocery shopping.
47. I read my friend's blogs.
48. I skyped with Sara and got to see her lil boy Nolan!
49. I erased my calendar from my phone. That's where I keep everything. :(
50. I ordered a rain coat online.
51. Adam bought new plastics and stickers for his dirt bike.
52. I went shopping with my mom.
53. I bid on retro kitchen canisters on ebay and lost.
54. I took a shower every day.
55. We got a couples massage.
56. I went to bed at 9:00 p.m. one night.
57. We ate delicious carrot cake made by Mindy.
58. We tried Pita Pit and loved it!
59. I got Noodles to sit on my lap for 30 minutes!
60. We booked a fancy suite for the wedding night.
61. I've changed my mind on reception decor about 20 times.
62. Adam rode his dirt bike with his buddies in Erie.
63. We went to Red Lobster to celebrate Grandma's birthday!
64. I'm on episode 98 of 100 of Nip/Tuck. I really need to finish that show!
It was a little more difficult than I thought it would be. You can probably tell when I was running low on things to share. Such an exciting life we lead! We already have lots planned for the summer. Too bad I accidentally erased my calendar. I'm not sure I remember when its all supposed to happen.
